Events such as the Convergence India expo and Smart Cities India expo are crucial in solving the problems of modern India. The idea of smart cities should also incorporate the idea of sustainability, for without it, no city can be smart. In building and developing smart cities, not only do we need to think about people but also work towards involving them in the process of planning and development. Water is going to be one of the biggest problems going forward, and we must think about solutions.

The government is also devising several policies to support the Traders and Retailers. The COVID-19 pandemic has sharply impacted our citizens, the economy, and commercial growth. The industry has exhibited great examples of working with the government to contain the pandemic. We must continue to work in synergy and contribute towards making India self-reliant in every way possible. My best wishes to the organisers and participants of this grand event.

India must cement its position as an integral part of the global economy, and become a significant cog in the global supply chain if we are to grow 9-10% over the next 3 decades. We must strive towards becoming an exporting hub if we want to increase our national income and create wealth for our people. The government's ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative will go a long way in making India an indispensable entity in the global supply chain.

The first learning is that cities are for people, for its citizens, and not just for corporations and bureaucrats. Citizens have demonstrated that they can come together to think, aspire, benchmark, and create targets for what their city needs to do and what will be best for citizens. The main learning from Smart Cities is to identify how to get more from less and how to make cities more inclusive. There is no definition or specific explanation of Smart Cities.

When we talk about the smart cities, connectivity will be one of the key areas because when we look at our Indian population and when we look at the diversity of India, I think we have lot of challenges in terms of rural economy and that where these kind of roads, these kind of infrastructure will bring back last mile connectivity which will enable not only the bigger cities but also the smaller cities to profit from them and to ensure that we have a seamless connectivity from every district, city, and state to the entire heart of this country.

Being a Startup, we were a bit skeptical at first. But we entrusted Exhibitions India Group to showcase Stimul8 Technologies and its product range at 6th Smart Cities India Expo and can confidently say that with impeccable customer service and superb attention to details, the conference was delivered without a hitch.
The Conclave was very informative and engaging. I think there were some incredible speakers throughout three days of the event. I was really impressed with how engaging the panels were and the ease at which we could take so many valuable key assets from them. I believe that they did an outstanding job of honestly sharing the positive impacts of engaging multiple stakeholders to implement policies.
To us, it was an incredibly valuable experience important for the growth of our business. I must say it was an amazing opportunity, not only to learn from the panelists but also from all the people around. Being a young entrepreneur, we met a great diverse bunch of like minded people, exchanged some great ideas and made some really useful connections.
Already looking forward to the next event.
